6 minutes. . .

. . .the amount of time it took to jack up my back.

Against my better judgement and with Brian’s blessing, I took on the Tuesday WOD Rxd – 5 rounds of 5 deadlifts (185#) and 10 burpees.  My goal was 6 minutes.  I did it in 6:14.  Had to redo the last DL because I didn’t get full extension.  The burpees almost felt like rest.  By the 4th round, I knew that I was in trouble but I was already in too deep.  Crazy pain all night and I’m walking like Uncle Fester today.

Last tri on Sunday.  Don’t know if I’ll be able to toe the line.

  2. Didn’t race. Back was effed. I’m hoping to be back in the saddle tomorrow or Friday.
