090904 – Fab Friday
I was back at the box for the first time in a week. Last weekend, I was in Louisville (Loovul), Kentucky for Ironman Kentucky. I had a great day as a spectathlete and cheered on my cousin, L, and our friend, M, who placed 2nd in her age group and qualified for Kona.
I’ve got one week before my last tri and am hoping to have a good training week between now and then. Screw the taper! I’m all 3-2-1-Go!
Workout 1 – Masters Swimming. I showed up, swam about 500m and left. Wasn’t feeling the swim. Missing Crossfit.
Workout 2 – PCF WOD @ 0930
A trip to the box made everything right in my world. Thanks to Laura P. for her encouragement and for sharing the bar.
Warmup: 1 lap and then 2x (10 pullups, 10 pushups, 10 SPT, 10 situps). I did 4 deadhangs and then moved to the band to finish the pullups.
